A mini haul of the clothes and accessories that I can’t live without this Spring and will still be obsessing over come Summer time.
If you’ve kept up with my style posts, you would have kind of gathered that I try and pick pieces that are great quality, great styles and low budget – my mind and pockets are still recovering from my major blowout in 2009/2010. We’ve all been there, in some way or another but we can say they were great times and we’re still here to tell the tale, amen.
I love clothes, my mum LOVED clothes (she has a slight distaste by the overwhelming amount that I have); when my Grandad helped my Nan to gather her most prized possessions when they were moving into their first home together, he was concerned how she fed herself as there were only clothes – no pots, no plates, no cutlery.
So you see, my love for clothes was always on the cards…
Spring and Summer wear are the most revealing I think and you can get a real sense of someone’s character whether it be by their quirky vintage finds, or their minimal and simplistic staples; what you wear should always reveal something about you.
Necklace – Topshop (similar)
Top – ASOS
Skirt – Quiz Curve
Handbag – Zara
Shoes – Quiz
The skirt is from the latest curve range from Quiz, the fit is perfect for creating an hour glass shape as it nips in at the waist; the layered mesh creates a really tasteful silhouette which is perfect for transitioning from day to night. I paired the skirt with some earthy tones because I like the contrast against the white, it really makes the white pop.

Pyjama Blouse – ASOS
Flared Hem Jeans – Very
If you have a thing for night time wear, then a pyjama blouse is definitely something you should invest in. I’m obsessed with everything about them, the shape, the feminine neckline and collar; this particular one has black piping which really completes the look of this blouse. I wore it with those infamous flared hem jeans, that I wrote in detail about a couple of months ago in a previous post that I have in both black and blue because they are both great value for money and flattering to my shape – winning!
Lips – Rimmel
Top – ASOS
Jeans – ASOS Curve
Handbag – Linea
When I first laid eyes on this top I instantly had an attachment to it but I was also concerned that it would wash me out a great deal as I’m quite pale at the moment but I was pleasantly surprised. I love the intensity of the yellow and the floral print just screams Summer; it has a slight dip hem style complete with a peplum finish, which is perfect for all body shapes. I wore it with some dark petrol blue jeans, some gorgeous flatform, tie up sandals from Quiz that I currently live in and some red lips for good measure!
