Clearing out unused shoes, clothes and bags has made me stumble across some old gems to complete my OOTD.
If you have been keeping up with my posts, you would have read about my unusual way of being pushed to clear out some of my clutter. I’ve made some progress and I really have cleared out SOME shoes, but this situation has had its downfall, and that happened when I stumbled across these boots and this bag, both from H & M and I couldn’t part ways. They were bought some time in 2013 I think and they have served me well (refer to my method to make the right choices) and will continue to do so.
When choosing a heel, I never go too high because struggle to wear them, I used to wear high heels all the time, when going out with the girls but after injuring my ankles one too many times, I just stick to what is comfortable which brings me to these beauts. They are so comfortable and perfect to wear on a day-to-day basis; they are versatile because they are pretty much timeless which makes it easy to pair them with many outfits, and when we’re doing the maths, we want to get the most of our money, otherwise it’s not a great buy!
If I had to live without any fashion item, without a doubt it would be a handbag, which sounds really odd coming from a woman but they are my least favourite thing to buy. I mean I know a good handbag when I see one (I’ve just got some fabulous ones that I will be posting next week) but I think I’m just more of a shoe girl. At the time when I saw this bag, I knew I had to have it, it has the studded detail, but still subtle to wear everyday. The size and structure are perfect, it’s not too little or too big and it fits quite a fair amount in there, for me, that’s a fair amount of receipts and other junk but the structure allows that junk to stay nice and crease free – yes!
