Shearling coats have been making statements for well over 100 years, for historic icons like Del Boy it was his signature look and well if its good enough for him, its good enough for me. Rewind to AW16 and they are still at the top of my list for Winter wear, heres my current shearling style must haves.
I love my shearling coat, when I first laid eyes on it I knew that we belonged together and its been that way ever since. Looking back when I picked my coat, I went for a classic style which is cool and timeless but these bright and vibrant shearlings are just calling my damn name, the absolute dream would be to find a short pilot, leather one in blood red – I’m really not asking for much.
I love the double breast style and the colour (earth tones you guys!). What excites me more is the heavy display of two different materials, thats what makes this coat stand out.
This coat is perfect, just the look I’m on the hunt for and the price really isn’t too bad either. If anyone happens to stumble across something like this in blood red, my prayers would have been answered.
This coat has a more traditional style like mine but more fitted, the fur collar just makes it more pretty and feminine. I really like the colour too, theres something christmassy about white in the winter – definitely nothing to do with E17 at all.
This vintage t-shirt was designed by Kurt Cobain for the on and off again group “Flipper” and was worn by Kurt many times (not this particular one, sadly). I love rock ‘n’ roll tees, they can be dressed down or up paired with a leather skirt and boots and you’re ready to rock out.
