With every season, comes new styles; here’s 3 key pieces to invest in this Spring to keep your wardrobe on point for the warmer months.
With new year’s and seasons, always comes with new trends, or how I see it, trends repeating themselves from previous decades with a modern sass. Truth be told, it’s hard to keep up (and afford) a whole new wardrobe every time a new season greets us, so I’ve put together my 3 key pieces for Spring, that I’ve picked up a long the way that you’ll probably already have in your wardrobe.
Originally created in many Asian and Middle Eastern countries, embroidery is dominating this brighter season. If you’ve seen some of my latest posts, you’ll have seen A LOT of embroidery and I love it; it casually dresses up a plain item of clothing and leaves a lasting impression. If girly is what you’re looking for this Spring, definitely head towards embroidery.
Cut out clothing has been circulating for some time now and it’s available in so many forms, like this cut out choker blouse from Missguided. As told in Vogue, it is very much still bang on trend for Spring and should be paraded in choker, cold shoulder and disconnected styles – nice!
Khaki is typically seen to be worn during the colder months because of its darker shade, but it’s still banging this Spring, along with nudes and blush pinks (check out my cute bag, wink). I have quite a lot of khaki cos I love the colour and I find it compliments my skin tone, but if khaki isn’t your thing, you should go for the pink tones.
