Mango sorbet ice lollies are quick and simple to make, they literally take up five minutes of your time and thats just the eating part!
For this recipe you’ll need somewhere to store the lollies in the freezer and ice lolly moulds, you can grab them from your local pound shop or online. I bought ones from ikea the other week and they are really cool, however I didn’t use those ones on this occasion as I wanted to show the pieces of fruit that I added.
I can’t take full credit for this recipe, I had the help of my fabulous, foodie niece, Aaliyah. In fact it was pretty much her idea along with the cookie ice cream we made. She’s gonna make the perfect vlogger! Check out her YouTube channel here.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Freezing time: 2hrs +
Ingredients to make 6 lollies:
- 4 mangos
- Juice from a lemon
- a table spoon of honey (optional)
- chopped up pieces of fruit
Step 1: Peel and chop up the mango into very small pieces and put into a blender for about a minute to create a better consistency (I know, I use that word a lot but consistency is LIFE).
Step 2: Place the blended mangos into a sieve to get an even smoother CONSISTENCY. Add the lemon juice and honey for those of you who have a sweet tooth and mix.
Step 3: Add the chopped up fruit into the lolly moulds (I used pieces of kiwi and strawberries, but the choices of fruit is totally up to you), and then pour the mango mixture into each mould. Freeze for 2 hours or when you feel the mixture is completely frozen.
