Get your burger game on smash and impress your dinner guests with my quick and easy homemade hamburger recipe.
I love burgers, its just such a simple concept of meat between some bread but it really can go wrong sometimes, ask Burger King, they know. FOMO is not a thing around here, I’ve got your back so you’ll never miss out when your burger cravings strike.
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Ingredients to serve 6:
- 800g lean beef mince
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of parsley
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
- 2-3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
- 6 brioche buns
- bacon (optional)
- cheese slices
- ketchup, french mustard, mayo, etc
Step 1: Add all of the items from the “ingredients” list into a mixing bowl and knead them altogether, like you would bread to ensure all the ingredients are mixed in. If you have cooking gloves, I would definitely recommend using them for this process. Divide into six patties and leave to rest for five minutes.
Step 2: Whilst the patties are resting, start the bacon now for extra crispiness, then begin to cook the burgers for 5-7 minutes of each side. It doesn’t matter what cooking device you use i.e grill or pan; cook however the heart desires.
Step 3: Once the burgers have been flipped and are in their last minutes of cooking, stack the bacon and cheese on top. Lightly toast the buns so the juiciness of the burgers don’t make them soggy – gross!
Step 4: Now that the burgers are cooked, add the burgers to the buns along with the other garnish ingredients of your choice and they are ready to go!

Side note: for quick and simple curly fries, lightly season frozen curly fries with salt, pepper and rosemary. Spray with cooking oil and stick them in the oven for 25 minutes.
Would you like a little salt & pepper on your hamburger?!
